Sheathing, which is seen as the most important element for thermal insulation in buildings, is called Sheathing all the chain of works carried out to cover the exterior facades of the buildings with low heat permeable materials and to make them paintable with exterior paint with today's technology.  

 

Sheathing can be applied both in the construction of new buildings and to improve the energy efficiency performance of old buildings. Sheathing technique can also be applied in building reinforcement works. Sheathing technique, in European countries since the 1970s (ETICS), ie, "External Thermal Insulation Composite System" is applied under the name. In our country, it is the most preferred exterior thermal insulation application after the energy efficiency law entered into force.
